TJX Keeps Dividend Steady

Updated

TJX is maintaining its shareholder payout policy for the moment. The company has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.145 per share of its common stock, which is to be handed out on Sept. 5 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 15. That amount matches the company's previous distribution, which was paid last week. Before that, TJX distributed $0.115 per share.

The company is a fairly steady and reliable dividend payer. Since 2004, its disbursement has ranged from $0.04 per share to $0.19.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $0.58 per share. That yields 1.2% at TJX's current stock price of $50.04.
