LIN Media Appoints Kimberly Davis as Vice President Human Resources

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- LIN Media (NYS: TVL) , a local multimedia company, announced today that Kimberly Davis has been appointed Vice President Human Resources. Ms. Davis succeeds Daniel Donohue, who is retiring, effective July 5, 2013, after a decade of service to LIN Media.

As a member of the Company's executive management team, Ms. Davis will be responsible for developing and executing strategic employee initiatives that support the Company's overall business plan and strategy. In addition, she will provide leadership and support to all business units in human resources related matters, including talent management, compensation and benefits, diversity, health and wellness, and employee relations. Ms. Davis will work out of LIN Media's Austin, Texas office and report directly to Vincent Sadusky, President and Chief Executive Officer of LIN Media.

Ms. Davis joins LIN Media after serving as Director, Human Resources Business Partner for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), an innovative technology company headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA, where she strategically partnered with global business units by providing strategic talent management plans, executive coaching, culture creation, performance management and rewards, organization development and change management. Prior to AMD, Ms. Davis was Director of Human Resources for Dougherty's Holding, Inc. and Human Resources Manager Worldwide of S2 Systems, Inc. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University.
