ViryaVision 2013 Empowers Customers for the Mobile Revolution

WESTBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ViryaNet Limited (OTC QB: VRYAF), a leading provider of software solutions that optimize and allow for the continuous improvement of service processes for mobile workforces, recently held ViryaVision 2013, its annual customer conference in Florida.

Memy Ish-Shalom, President and CEO, ViryaNet, delivered the opening keynote, offering his insights on the mobile revolution. "We think more companies will migrate to new concepts and new technologies in mobile earlier than they currently envision. Mobile will change how people work. Embracing this trend, ViryaNet will provide more and more capabilities in native mobile apps."

ViryaNet also welcomed its partners and conference sponsors, including GE Digital Energy, Amdocs, SageQuest, Xplore Technologies, iDashboards, and Intalio, to the annual customer conference. Attendance at the conference was the highest in ViryaVision history.

At the conference, ViryaNet customers and partners used their mobile devices to take a "test drive" of ViryaNet's voice-enabled native field application, the first of its kind in the industry. This application leverages the features of mobile devices to ensure the field workforce remains on plan, whether on the road or at the work site.

The Performance Management session walked through the steps of creating a performance management practice to measure and monitor the right key performance indicators (KPIs), align the mobile workforce management process with business objectives, and help field service organizations meet business goals.

"Consolidated Communications is on the verge of implementing performance management, so it's exciting to confirm the benefits we'll receive from our KPIs and dashboards." said Amy Moran, Project Manager, Consolidated Communications, "This new performance management practice will allow us to meet our customer expectations and provide superior customer service."

Other highlights included a groundbreaking concept that will change the way dispatchers work, allowing them to be more focused and effective. The system will proactively look for exceptions and provide the context for resolving those exceptions. In addition, ViryaNet demonstrated new capabilities to support the complex scheduling and planning of work into the mid-term and long-term horizon and how the ViryaNet Performance Management Framework can be used to help analyze the planning tool output.

"It was fun to see the enthusiasm during the test drive of the new ViryaNet G4 Field Application," said Jim Robidoux, Vice President, Customer Care, "We also received positive feedback on Capacity Planning, Dispatch, and Performance Management. These innovations are part of our ongoing commitment to empower customers to reach their business goals with ViryaNet."
