At the beginning of EA's 2013 E3 press conference, it was announced that over the subsequent hour 11 new and future releases for Xbox One and PS4 would be revealed. And, boy, they did not disappoint.

The first game announced was Plants VS. Zombies: Garden Warfare. John Vechey walked out on stage wearing a giant zombie head and the trailer featured shooting Cacti and disco zombies. Enough said.

Titanfall has already been talked about during Microsoft's press conference, but we got to see some new game footage for the game that will be released in Spring 2014 for Xbox One, PC, and Xbox 360.

Peggle 2 was also announced briefly as a giant number 2, coupled with a rainbow, appeared on screen.

Following a brief (but exciting!) teaser for Star Wars Battlefront, EA moved onto Need For Speed. We saw how races could begin as single player and end as multiplayer and also got to see some behind the scenes footage of the upcoming Need For Speed movie introduced by Aaron Paul, star of the film (and Breaking Bad).

A phenomenal trailer for Dragon Age Inquisition was also shown.

To start prelude the EA Sports portion of the show, one of the speakers proclaimed that "at EA Sports, we are proud of our past and our legacy. But today, we are unveiling our future" and it got us all excited for what was to come.

First up was a rap introduction to NBA Live 14. Kyrie Irving came onstage to talk about the importance of dribbling and it was revealed that with the new bounce-tek technology, dribbling in NBA Live 14 will be much improved.

Madden NFL 25 was described as a game that "looks, feels, and responds in a way you've never seen before" and the graphics backed up that claim. It looks fantastic.

To introduce FIFA 14, for some reason EA decided that they would bring in Drake (yes, the rapper) to do the job. Interesting.

Following the unveiling of UFC, EA went into Battlefield 4 and its new Commander Mode that will allow a birds-eye-view. To demonstrate its new multiplayer mode, EA brought 64 PEOPLE in stage to play in the same game - 64! It was a very cool way to show us how it would work.

Finally, as a great last surprise, Mirror's Edge 2 was announced (to be released "when it's ready"), which should please many gamers that consider it to be one of their favorite games EVER.
