Garmin Sets One Year of Dividends

Updated

Garmin has chosen a fixed spot on its map and pinned four dividend payments to it. In accordance with Swiss corporate law, the company's shareholders have approved a full year of quarterly distributions. Each will total $0.45 per share. The first will be paid on June 28 to shareholders of record as of June 18. The payment and record dates for the following three disbursements are Sept. 30 and Sept. 16, Dec. 31 and Dec. 16, and March 31 and March 17, 2014, respectively.

The just-declared amounts match those of the company's previous four-quarter span.

The dividend annualizes to $1.80 per share. That yields 5.2% at Garmin's current stock price of $34.82.
