AG Mortgage Keeps Dividend Steady at $0.80

Diversified real estate investment trust AG Mortgage Investmentannounced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.80 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after raising the payout 4% from $0.77 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 26 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 18. The REIT has made quarterly payouts to investors since 2011. It has increased the dividend three times since then.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $3.20-per-share annual dividend, yielding 14% based on the closing price of AG Mortgage Investment's stock on June 6.
