Nucor Makes It 161 Quarterly Dividends in a Row

Steelmaker Nucor announced this morning its second-quarter dividend of $0.3675 per share, the same rate it paid the last two quarters after raising the payout almost 1% from $0.365 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Aug. 9 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 28. The steelmaker said it has now made 161 consecutive quarterly dividend payments.

The regular dividend payment equates to an $1.47-per-share annual dividend, yielding 3.3% based on the closing price of Nucor's stock on June 5.
