Northrop Wins $318 Million Defense Intelligence Agency Order

Northrop Grumman has snagged a sizable IT contract award from the Defense Intelligence Agency.

On Wednesday, Northrop announced the receipt of the $318-million award to design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy information technology services to the DIA's Chief Information Office, and to support the full software development life cycle of DIA's information technology architecture.

Northrop vice president of integrated intelligence systems Shawn Purvis said in a statement: "We are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with DIA," and promised to work toward creating "tangible cost savings for the agency."
