Aetna Opens Support Lines to the Public after Building Collapse in Philadelphia
HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- In the aftermath of the apartment building collapse in Center City Philadelphia, Aetna (NYSE: AET), has opened its student and employee assistance program lines for any person who may be having difficulty coping with this tragedy.
"Aetna is deeply saddened by the building collapse in Philadelphia, and we're here to help," said Aetna Chairman, CEO and President Mark T. Bertolini. "Our focus is on helping those affected get the assistance they need to move forward."
The Aetna Behavioral Health Student and Employee Assistance Program professionals who will answer the phone have experience helping people through traumatic events, and are available now. Any person, regardless of insurance, is welcome to contact Aetna's counselors for help, support or referrals for further assistance.
