The U.S. International Trade Commission has ruled that Apple violated a Samsung patent with older models of the iPhone and iPad. The patent covers technology used to send information over wireless networks. Apple has 60 days to settle the issue and needs an appeals court to block the ruling or President Obama to overturn it. Otherwise, Apple can no longer import the devices to the United States. What does the ruling mean for consumers? What does it mean for Apple shareholders?
