OBJE to Offer Sneak Peek at Hot New Paid Gaming App
SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- OBJ Enterprises, Inc. (OTCBB: OBJE) and its joint venture partner, Novalon Games, announced today that the beta testing version of the wild new gaming app Creature Tavern is being prepped for release online.
The partners plan to give gamers and investors their first chance to play the game's unfinished test version next week at www.novalongames.com.
Creature Tavern is the joint venture's latest product designed to capture share of more than $9 billion in revenues pulled in by app developers since the Apple (NAS: AAPL) App Store's inception. Expectations are high for OBJE and Novalon's first paid app: 15 of the iPad's Top 25 most downloaded paid apps ever are games, and 21 of the iPhone's Top 25.
"With Creature Tavern scheduled to become our very first paid gaming app, we plan to test this game thoroughly and gather as much feedback as we can before submitting it to the primary app markets," said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. "If we can achieve just a fraction of the downloads that a game like Plants vs. Zombies gets, Creature Tavern will be a big money-maker for us—and we're aiming much higher than that."
Obscene Interactive, OBJE's gaming subsidiary, is preparing to deliver a wide range of innovative gaming products for the Apple App Store and Google (NAS: GOOG) Play platforms alongside companies such as Glu Mobile Inc. (NAS: GLUU) and The9 Limited (NAS: NCTY) .
