Sunrise Telecom Incorporated Announces 2013 Annual Meeting of Stockholders
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sunrise Telecom® Incorporated (OTC: SRTI), announced today that the 2013 Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. The meeting will begin at 11 a.m. PDT at Sunrise Telecom's headquarters located at 302 Enzo Drive, San Jose, Calif., 95138.
Stockholders of record as of the close of business on June 7, 2013, are entitled to vote at the 2013 Annual Meeting. At the Annual Meeting, stockholders will also be asked to vote on the planned sale of substantially all of the operating assets of Sunrise Telecom to VeEX, Inc., a global leader in telecom and CATV test solutions, pursuant to a definitive agreement between Sunrise Telecom and VeEX which was announced yesterday. More details regarding the sale of Sunrise Telecom to VeEX will be set forth in the proxy statement to be sent out to stockholders next week.
