Seasoned Executive with Track Record of Success in Latin America Joins EVault to Accelerate Company's Rapid Growth in Brazil

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- EVault, Inc., a Seagate Company (NAS: STX) , today announced the appointment of João Alberto Simões to manage EVault operations in Brazil. Simões, a business leader with more than 20 years of experience in Brazil and Latin America with national and multinational companies, will be responsible for developing and growing EVault's presence and business in Brazil, one of the key markets in Latin America. Simões responsibilities will also include recruiting new partners, and working with key partners on planning, strategy and co-marketing activities.

Prior to joining EVault, Simões was Brazil Toughbook Area Manager at Panasonic Computer Solutions Company, where he was responsible for startup sales operations in Brazil, from planning to product launch, pricing strategy, and for building the distribution structure and channel sales program. Simões worked for VIVIO-Telefonica for almost 10 years prior to his time with Panasonic. During his tenure at VIVO-Telefonica he managed some of their largest corporate customers, helping to grow their business across Latin America.
