DuPont Fabros Sets Preferred Dividends

As noted last month, DuPont Fabros Technology increased its second-quarter dividend 25%, which will be paid on July 15 to shareholders of record on July 5. In addition to announcing this regular $0.25-per-share payout for its common stock, the data center operator also announced yesterday it would be paying dividends on two series of preferred stock, both of which will also be payable on July 15 to shareholders of record on July 5.

DuPont Fabros' 7.875% Series A cumulative redeemable perpetual preferred stock had a dividend of $0.4921875 per share set for the period from April 16 to July 15 while its 7.625% Series B cumulative redeemable perpetual preferred stock had a dividend of $0.4765625 per share set for the same period.

The regular payout annualizes to $1.00 per share and yields 4.2% based on the closing price of DuPont Fabros Technology's stock on June 3.
