EPS came in at $0.74. The 11 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $0.73 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.74 for Q3 were 5.7% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.70 per share. (The prior-year quarter included $0.07 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.) GAAP EPS of $0.64 for Q3 were 4.5% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.67 per share. (The prior-year quarter included $0.07 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.)

For the quarter, gross margin was 52.1%, 130 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 17.4%, 240 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 11.4%, 60 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $715.6 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.88.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.65 billion. The average EPS estimate is $3.03.
