Universal Stainless Hires New CFO

Updated

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products has found an executive to head its finance team, effective immediately. The company's new CFO is Michael Bornak, who will also serve as its vice president of finance and treasurer. He replaces Douglas McSorley, who departed to "pursue new opportunities," according to a company press release announcing the news.

Before joining Universal Stainless, Bornak was CFO, treasurer, secretary, and senior vice president of finance and administration at SeaChange International. He also served as CEO for the privately held companies Tollgrade Communications, Solar Power Industries, and MHF Logistical Solutions. In the publicly traded sphere he filled the same role for Portec Rail Products, now a unit of L.B. Foster.

Editor's note: A previous version of this article carried a headline that erroneously said the company had hired a new CEO.
