Indiana State Website Honored with Multiple Awards

The Communicator Awards recognize three IN.gov websites with Awards of Excellence and Distinction in various categories

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- IN.gov was awarded with eight recognitions from the Communicator Awards, the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals. The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 600+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.


IN.gov, which was redesigned with a fresh design and mobile-friendly responsiveness in the summer of 2012, was the recipient of three Awards of Excellence in the following categories: Government, Homepage, and Visual Appeal. In addition to the IN.gov website, the Indiana State Fair website was awarded three Awards of Distinction in Government, Travel/Tourism, and Visual Appeal. The Commission for Higher Education's Learn More Indiana website was also awarded with two Awards of Distinction in Education and Visual Appeal.
