WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, Bay Commercial Bank (OTCBB:BCML) is pleased to announce the addition of Vernon R. Padgett to it's Executive Management Team as Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer. Mr. Padgett's client service approach fits well with Bay Commercial Bank's philosophy. Mr. Padgett has always exhibited a deep rooted commitment to his clients. He also has worked extensively in the community, involved in many activities such as: Member, Urban Land Institute; Member, International Council of Shopping Centers; Co-Chairman / Co-Founder, Score-fore-Kids Golf Committee; Board Member, First Tee Oakland and Board Member, Business & Arts Networking Circle - Oakland (BANC).
Mr. Padgett has been in the banking industry since 1977. Prior to joining Bay Commercial Bank, he was a founding organizer of Presidio Bank, served as Executive Vice President / East Bay Market President. Previous to that he was with Mechanics Bank as Senior Vice President managing various departments. Mr. Padgett is a graduate of the School of Management at University of Virginia, Darden T.E.P., Pacific Coast Banking School, and the University of California, Davis.
Mr. Padgett will be based out of the Bank's corporate office in Walnut Creek, California. Effective June 24th, 2013, the Bank's headquarters will be located at 500 Ygnacio Valley Road, Suite 200, Walnut Creek. He can also be reached at 925-476-1812.
