AIG Statement Regarding Notice from Financial Stability Oversight Council
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- American International Group, Inc. (NYS: AIG) announced today that it has received notice from the U.S. Treasury that the Financial Stability Oversight Council has made a proposed determination that AIG is a systemically important financial institution pursuant to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
