Sterlite Industries (India) Limited - Tuticorin Smelter allowed to Restart

TUTICORIN, India--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has today allowed the Tuticorin Copper Smelter of Sterlite Industries to recommence production.

NGT has laid down certain conditions. We welcome the order and will work closely with the regulatory authorities and expect to resume production in approximately one week.
