Independent oil and gas producer Range Resources announced this morning its second-quarter dividend of $0.04 per share, the same rate it's paid since 2007.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on June 28 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 14. Range Resources initiated a dividend in 1995 and suspended it in 1999. It reinstated the payout in 2004 and has consistently made a quarterly payout since then.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.16-per-share annual dividend, yielding 0.2% based on the closing price of Range Resources' stock on May 30.
