Golar LNG Raises Dividend

Updated

Golar LNG isn't full of hot air when it comes to dividend pronouncements. The company has declared its latest quarterly distribution, which amounts to $0.45 per share to be paid "on or about" June 27 to shareholders of record as of June 13. That amount is a 6% improvement over the previous two disbursements of $0.425 apiece, both of which were paid simultaneously last December.

The firm is a steady dividend payer, although its amounts can vary from quarter to quarter. Since early 2007, its regular distribution has ranged from $0.05 to $0.50 per share.

The new dividend annualizes to $1.80 per share. That yields 5.3% at Golar LNG's most recent closing stock price of $34.00.
