Chuck E. Cheese's Helps Oklahoma Families with Statewide Fundraiser, Donations to American Red Cross Disaster Relief

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- After terrible storms shook the state of Oklahoma and left many families in the heart of the U.S. in need of aid, Chuck E. Cheese's has organized a statewide effort to assist friends and families in affected areas and unite them in the spirit of community relief. On Tuesday, June 4, all Oklahoma Chuck E. Cheese's locations will donate 15 percent of the day's sales generated between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. to American Red Cross disaster relief efforts in the state.

"Several of our cast members live in areas that were damaged by the events of last week, and there are children in our communities who have sadly lost their friends and classmates," said Frank Landes, Chuck E. Cheese's district manager, Oklahoma Region. "This fundraising event is a way to offer emotional relief to families who need to spend some time with each other having fun right now, and it's also a way to empower these kids to take part in contributing to community relief."

In addition to the statewide fundraising event, Chuck E. Cheese's will also provide the MPS Foundation with family trips to Chuck E. Cheese's to give storm victims more than 300 large pizzas, 1,200 soft drinks and a supply of tokens for 9,000 game plays. Storm victims interested in a family trip to Chuck E. Cheese's can visit the Moore, Okla., branch of First American Bank at 2101 S. I-35 Frontage Road.

Chuck E. Cheese's has two locations in Oklahoma City, on 7601 S. Walker and 6817 NW Expressway, and one location in Tulsa on 7108 S. Memorial Drive. All stores will participate in the June 4 fundraiser.
