Kathleen McLean Named ADT Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The ADT Corporation (NYS: ADT) today announced the appointment of Kathleen McLean as senior vice president and chief information officer. McLean will be responsible for developing and executing the company's information technology strategy in support of its business operations. She will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Naren Gursahaney.

McLean has more than 30 years of business and strategic technology leadership experience, including service with world-leading consulting and telecommunications corporations. Most recently, McLean served as executive vice president, chief revenue officer and chief information officer at FairPoint Communications, Inc. where she helped chart a new course of systems stability, operational excellence and revenue growth. Prior to that, she spent nearly 12 years in several leadership positions at Verizon Communications, Inc., implementing people, process and systems strategies to improve operating performance and customer service across all sectors of the company. Earlier in her career, she worked for American Management Systems, Inc. (now part of CGI Group, Inc.) in leadership positions culminating as Vice President in the Telecom Industry Group.
McLean holds a B.S. in International Economics from Georgetown University. She joins ADT on June 3.
