Williams-Sonoma Hires R.R. Donnelley for Catalog Business

The glossy catalog with all the must-have kitchen gadgets from will now land on your doorstep courtesy of a multiyear, multimillion-dollar contract with business services giant R.R. Donnelley .

Donnelley will provide printing and logistics services for all of the brands in the Williams-Sonoma portfolio, including Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, PBdorm, Pottery Barn Bed & Bath, Pottery Barn Outdoor, Williams-Sonoma Home, West Elm, Rejuvenation, and the recently launched Mark and Graham, Agrarian, and West Elm Market. Of course it will also do the catalog for the company's eponymous brand as well.

RR Donnelley COO Dan Knotts said: "All of us at RR Donnelley are very proud to have been awarded the opportunity to handle all of the Williams-Sonoma, concepts' catalogs. The platform that we have built to serve multi-channel retailers is designed to help them bring their brands to life and to produce outstanding results in a variety of media."


Understanding that catalogs still play an important role in brand marketing, Williams-Sonoma will have Donnelley provide commercial printing, direct mail, labels, and financial printing services as well. The press release did not specify exactly how many years the contract covers, or how many dollars.
