("Omthera" or the "Company) (NASDAQ GM: OMTH) in connection with their conduct related to the sale of the Company to AstraZeneca. Under the terms of the proposed transaction, shareholders of Omthera will receive $12.70 in cash for each share of Omthera common stock that they own. In addition, each Omthera shareholder will receive Contingent Value Rights of up to approximately $4.70 per share if specified milestones are achieved.
