On its Maps blog today, Googleintroduced a new online mapping course that will teach people how to use the new Google Maps, Maps Engine Lite, and Google Earth.
The course is called "Mapping with Google" and will be offered as a self-paced online course from June 10 to June 24. Google said in the post that users will learn how to "Tell a story of your favorite locations with rich 3D imagery, or plot sights to see on your upcoming trip and share with your travel buddies."
The company said that Google experts will be available during the course and users will also be able to collaborate with other participants through Google+ Hangouts and an online forum.
