Ross Stores Makes Cash Donation to Red Cross Tornado Relief Efforts

Discount retailer Ross Stores has made a cash contribution of $100,000 to the American Red Cross to assist in the charity's Oklahoma tornado-relief efforts. The Red Cross program helps provide food, shelter, emotional support, and other relief supplies to survivors of the recent storms.

"[Ross is] committed to helping with relief efforts for our neighbors in Oklahoma who were affected by the devastation from the recent tornadoes," said Michael Balmuth, Ross's vice chief executive officer and vice chairman.

Ross Stores will accept customer donations to the American Red Cross from May 23 through May 31. Donations are also being accepted at the Red Cross's website, www.redcross.org.
