NuStar and The Greehey Family Foundation Contribute to Oklahoma Relief Effort

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- NuStar Energy L.P. (NYS: NS) and The Greehey Family Foundation today announced contributions to the American Red Cross to support the organization's tornado relief efforts in Oklahoma. Because of the widespread devastation and the tremendous need for resources, The Greehey Family Foundation is making a contribution of $250,000 and the NuStar Foundation is donating $100,000.

"We're proud to support the American Red Cross and its efforts to provide critical aid to the tornado victims who have lost so much," said Bill Greehey, Chairman of NuStar. "We hope that these gifts, in some small measure, help those impacted by the storm begin to recover and rebuild their lives. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them during this incredibly difficult time."

Curt Anastasio, President and CEO of NuStar, praised the company's employees saying, "We want to thank our employees everywhere, from San Antonio to Amarillo to Ardmore to Wichita and beyond, for giving generously of their time and money to help the tornado victims. Without a doubt, we have the best employees in America as they always answer the call to help."

NuStar is encouraging its employees to make contributions to the American Red Cross as well, and many of the company's locations have initiated their own relief efforts for the victims in Moore. NuStar employees in Amarillo, TX have donated three trailers of supplies that left for Moore yesterday morning; employees in Ardmore, OK are working with a local group to pull together a list of supplies needed for disaster aid; employees in the Wichita, KS office donated supplies earlier in the week; and employees and contractors in St. James, LA donated supplies and planned a Jambalaya dinner in Moore.

Funds raised by NuStar will be used by the American Red Cross to support its relief efforts, which include preparing for and providing shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance in response to disasters.
