KeyCorp Names New CFO

Updated

KeyCorp has a new individual occupying its CFO desk. That person is Donald Kimble, who will take up the position on June 3. In addition to his executive role, he will also serve on the banking group's management committee and its executive council.

Kimble is a veteran with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining KeyCorp, he was CFO at Huntington Bancshares. He also occupied various executive posts at AmSouth Bancorporation (now a part of Regions Financial) and at Bank One, since absorbed by JPMorgan Chase.

In the press release announcing the appointment, the company quoted CEO Beth Mooney as saying of Kimble that he "possesses deep financial services experience and strong leadership skills with a proven ability to help businesses drive growth and efficiency."
