Eagle Materials Keeps Dividend at a Dime

Cement and building materials maker Eagle Materials announced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.10 per share, the same rate it's paid since 2008.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 22 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 18. Eagle Materials has paid a quarterly dividend every year since 2004.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.40-per-share annual dividend, yielding 0.5% based on the closing price of Eagle Materials' stock on May 23.
