Bunge Hikes Dividend 11%

Agribusiness giant Bunge announced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.30 per share, an 11% increase from the $0.27-per-share payout it made last quarter.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 3 to holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 15. Bunge has raised its payout every year since 2003.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.20-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.7% based on the closing price of Gap's stock on May 23.
