Logitech to Initiate Dividend

Updated

Technology specialist Logitech announced yesterday that the board of directors had decided to initiate the payment of a recurring regular dividend issued on an annual basis. The matter would need to be first approved by the company's shareholders at its annual meeting in September. The first payout was set at CHF 0.21 per share, or about $0.22 per share at current exchange rates.

Logitech issued a special dividend of $0.847639 per share in September 2012.

The new, regular dividend payment would yield 3.3% based on the closing price of Logitech's stock on May 22.
