Horace Mann Maintains Steady Dividend
Multiline insurance company Horace Mann Educators announced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.195 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter when it raised the payout 22%, from $0.16 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on June 28 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 10.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.78-per-share annual dividend, yielding 3.4% based on the closing price of Horace Mann Educator's stock on May 22.
