Herbalife Family Foundation Launches Three New Casa Herbalife Programs in Taiwan, Korea and Vietnam

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), a non-profit organization committed to helping vulnerable children, announces that it has opened three new Casa Herbalife programs in its Asia Pacific region, extending nutrition support to 4,800 children in the region on a daily basis.

The launch of the three Casa Herbalife programs in Taiwan, Korea and Vietnam reflect Herbalife's ongoing commitment to improving the nutrition and lives of vulnerable children in countries across Asia Pacific.

There are currently 20 Casa Herbalife programs that provide financial resources and volunteer support to non-profit organizations in support of healthy nutrition for vulnerable children.

In Taiwan, the Casa Herbalife program is the second project of its kind and will benefit the students of Fu Yuan Elementary School. In addition to an initial monetary grant, the program will help promote nutrition education, invite dietitians to share relevant knowledge with the students, and set up a "nutrition corner" in every classroom.

Herbalife's third Casa Herbalife program in Korea has been established with HyeSimWon, which runs a children's home to provide shelter, protection and support to the children in its care. The initial financial grant will be used to enhance the facilities in the kitchen to create a better environment for providing good nutrition to the children.

In Vietnam, the new Casa Herbalife program was established with the Dong Tam Social Protection Center. This is the second Casa Herbalife program in Vietnam, and the program will support the abandoned children living at the center with improved daily nutrition, as well as a kitchen renovation.

The Casa Herbalife program was established in 2005, to help bring good nutrition to children living in orphanages, after school centers, and other non-profit facilities. After the initial financial grants made by HFF, the organizations receive local financial and volunteer support from Herbalife independent distributors, as well as corporate employees.
