This summer, Heinz rallies ketchup fans to pledge togetherness and have fun while cooking outdoors

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Just in time for Memorial Day, Heinz® Ketchup is encouraging Americans to "Gather 'Round the Grill" with family and friends and catch up over ketchup. Heinz knows that taking the time to enjoy good food, good company and good weather is important. That's why America's Favorite Ketchup® is challenging people to commit to 57,000 grilling gatherings this summer and encouraging them to have grilling fun.

To join the fun, grillers can head to the Heinz Ketchup Facebook page to pledge how many times they will "Gather 'Round the Grill" this summer. By pledging before July 15, ketchup fans also will be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win $1,000 toward a new grill that will make their outdoor events the place to be for summers to come (see www.facebook.com/HeinzKetchup for official details).

To enter the "Grate to Great" photo contest, simply take a picture of your grilling gathering this holiday weekend and submit it by June 7 for a chance to win a grand prize of $10,000. To enter, grillers can register and upload a photo on Instagram that shows how Heinz takes their barbeque from "Grate to Great" and include the hashtag #GratetoGreat in the photo caption.
