Google Revamps Adsense Tool for Publishers

Updated

Google has revamped its Publisher Toolbar to help websites better control the Google ads displayed on their sites.

Since launching the Publisher Toolbar last year, the search giant has seen more than 234,000 publishers download the Chrome extension. While the Toolbar has always helped publishers get up-to-date info, like earnings and performance, on their AdSense accounts, Google has introduced more functionality and more control for publishers.

Specifically, Google has added two new features: a feedback interface and blocking. With the feedback feature, publishers will be able to provide feedback directly to Google. The blocking feature gives publishers not only insight into both the buyer and the advertiser, but also the ability to block the buyer.

For good measure, Google has also updated the Toolbar's interface with quick access to account earnings and information on different advertising channels.

Publishers can download the tool through the Chrome Web Store; publishers already using the Toolbar will see their versions automatically updated.
