TravelCenters of America Opens New 24-Hour Truck Service Center at TA in Demotte, Indiana
WESTLAKE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters), operator of the TA® and Petro Stopping Centers® travel center brands, has announced the opening of a newly built truck service facility at the TA travel center located at I-65, Exit 230, in DeMotte, Indiana. This TA Truck Service location offers four service bays and is open 24/7/365.
Highly trained ASE- and TIA-certified technicians at this TA Truck Service location, and throughout the TA and Petro Service Network, specialize in providing light duty repair, brakes, electrical, alignment, air conditioning, preventive maintenance, inspections and RoadSquad™ emergency road call services. This location increases the total number of truck service facilities in the TA and Petro branded chain to 233.
As with its other recently built truck service facilities, TravelCenters has designed the DeMotte location to include a back-up generator to provide power when there is an electrical outage. Additionally, the design includes an outdoor patio, where, on good weather days, drivers can relax and enjoy the outdoors while their truck maintenance is complete. There is also an ample indoor waiting area with TVs.
"This is the third Truck Service facility we have built and opened within the last month," shared Tom O'Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters. "We are happy to continue to be able to build and offer more truck maintenance and repair shops to our owner-operator and fleet customers. Now, nearly all of our locations have a truck service facility," he continued.
The TA-Petro annual independent survey of Overdrive magazine readers in late 2012 showed that TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube were "Voted Best" by professional drivers in eight categories, including Best Maintenance Shops, 4:1; Most Competent Technicians, 7:1; Most Trusted to Perform, 10:1; and Most Complete Shops, 8:1.
These ratios depict driver preference for TA and Petro versus the next closest over-the-road repair and maintenance facilities, including truck stops. TA and Petro were voted Best Overall Truck Stops, preferred 4:1 over the competition.
