McKesson Declares Common Stock Dividend

Updated

McKesson has decided to keep its quarterly dividend steady and level. The company declared a distribution of $0.20 per share of its common stock to be paid on July 1 to holders of record as of June 7. That amount matches the firm's previous eight quarterly disbursements, the most recent of which was handed out at the beginning of April. Prior to that, McKesson paid $0.18 per share.

The firm regularly pays dividends, but tends to raise them only occasionally. Since 2000, it has lifted its payout only three times.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $0.80 per share. That yields 0.7% at McKesson's most recent closing stock price of $117.55.
