Bon-Ton Keeps Dividend Steady at a Nickel

Department store operator Bon-Ton announced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.05 per share, the same rate it's paid since 2007.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Aug. 5 to the holders of record at the close of business on July 19. Bon-Ton has paid quarterly dividends since 2003.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.20-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1% based on the closing price of Bon-Ton's stock on May 21.
