Kraft Declares Quarterly Dividend

Updated

Kraft has decided to maintain its quarterly dividend policy. The company declared a distribution of $0.50 per share of its common stock. This will be paid on July 12 to shareholders of record as of June 28. That amount matches the firm's two previous quarterly disbursements, the most recent of which was handed out in April.

Although the company has a long history, in its present form it has only declared three dividends. This is because it technically became a new entity following the Oct. 2012 split that also created snack food purveyor Mondelez International.

Kraft's dividend annualizes to an even $2.00 per share. That yields 3.5% at the company's most recent closing stock price of $56.61.
