FTTN Scouts Promising New Opportunities at Massive Prospects & Properties Expo

BRADENTON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Domestic energy company First Titan Corp. (OTCBB: FTTN) will follow up on dozens of acquisitions leads this week after company leadership scouted hundreds of promising new opportunities at one of the nation's premiere expos for oil and gas prospects and properties.

The company's executive management attended the Houston Dealmakers Prospects & Properties Expo in the nation's energy capital last week, an event that promised to bring together a thousand buyers and sellers under one roof. Attendees included hundreds of senior oil and gas executives who arrived to conference and network over current exploration and production activity, mergers and acquisitions and current business opportunities. Stakeholders at all levels were included, from public and private companies and government entities to banks, mezzanine groups and private equity firms.

"Dealmakers was the perfect event to catch up on current plays and initiate contact with the industry's preeminent prospect generations, playmakers and property sellers," said FTTN CEO Harvey S. Bryant. "We're following up on some very intriguing possibilities now."

FTTN has identified several promising acquisition targets throughout the continent, focusing on oil-centric assets with the highest potential for profitability. The company plans to make a series of prudent acquisitions that will provide a solid base to facilitate a singular, pivotal acquisition in the next 12-18 months.

The company is already working to facilitate oil and gas production in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana as part of its aggressive 2013 growth strategy.

FTTN is a rising oil and gas company dedicated to continuing development of energy assets throughout North America alongside companies such as Continental Resources, Inc. (NYS: CLR) , Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYS: CHK) , SandRidge Energy Inc. (NYS: SD) and Ultra Petroleum Corp. (NYS: UPL) .
