CMO to present about marketing strategies for going global and local

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Digital River, Inc. During the event, which takes place June 4-7 in Chicago, Digital River's team will showcase its global commerce, marketing and payments solutions in booth 530. Also, conference attendees can hear Digital River's chief marketing officer, Scott Heimes, present during the executive track on June 5 at 4:15 p.m. CDT about marketing strategies that online merchants can use to successfully go global and local.

The global theme will continue during Scott Heimes' June 5th interactive session about e-commerce and e-marketing strategies. He will present real world champion/challenger scenarios — that pit one online store strategy against another — and then audience members can vote in real-time for the scenario that they believe resulted in the best online customer experience, and drove the biggest results. Attendees will walk away from this session with insight into some of the major issues associated with global sales as well as actionable approaches that can help ensure sites speak to local audiences upon launch.
