Chemed Keeps Dividend Steady

Updated

Chemed has decided to maintain its quarterly dividend policy, at least for the moment. The company announced it will distribute $0.18 per share of its stock on June 19 to shareholders of record as of May 30. This amount matches the firm's previous three disbursements, the most recent of which was handed out in March. Prior to that, Chemed paid $0.16 per share.

The company is a reliable and frequent dividend payer. Over the past few years, it has tended to lift its payout once every four quarters.

The new dividend annualizes to $0.72 per share. That yields 1.1% at Chemed's current stock price of $68.33.
