Air Products Maintains $0.71 Dividend
Specialty gas supplier Air Products announced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.71 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter after raising the dividend 11% from $0.64 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Aug. 12 to the holders of record at the close of business on July 1. Air Products has paid a dividend every quarter since 1981 and has raised the payout every year since 1983. Over that time frame the specialty gas maker has split its stock three times.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $2.84-per-share annual dividend yielding 3.1% based on the closing price of Air Products' stock on May 16.
