Lumos Networks Names Fiber Industry Veteran Jake Miller as Senior Vice President of Business Development
WAYNESBORO, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Lumos Networks Corp. (NAS: LMOS) , a fiber-based service provider of data, voice and IP-based telecommunication services in the Mid-Atlantic region, today named long-time fiber industry veteran, Jeffrey "Jake" Miller, as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Miller comes to Lumos with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry at both Adelphia Communications and at TelCove, a national fiber IP transport company which was ultimately purchased by Level 3 Communications for $1.2 billion. Mr. Miller participated in the development of TelCove's business strategy, managed the building of its core fiber network backbone and negotiated its vendor contracts. Prior to his telecommunications career, Mr. Miller, a CPA, spent 7 years as an accountant at Ernst & Young.
