Studies Reaffirm Global Green's Poultry Vaccine Meets Need of Preventive Method Against Salmonella at the Farm Level

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Global Green, Inc. (OTCBB:GOGC) today cited a recent European study confirming the need for preventive methods to stop Salmonella foodborne outbreaks in poultry at the farm level. Independent studies conducted on Global Green's behalf, confirm that Salmogenics, the Company's patented Salmonella vaccine for poultry, accomplishes this.

Salmonella Enteritidis is one of the most prevalent foodborne pathogens. In March 2013, ThePoultrySite.com reported that researchers at the University of Agronomical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest in Romania and the University of Liege in Belgium reported as the concern grows over the increase in human salmonellosis cases, the need for an application of preventive methods either at the farm level or during the processing steps is crucial to better control Salmonella foodborne outbreaks.

Last year Global Green announced a model Efficacy Study conducted by an independent laboratory on the Company's behalf confirmed that Salmogenics, injected into the egg, before the chick is hatched, improves the immune system, health and welfare of the chicken, reduces the likelihood of this foodborne pathogen, and provides a healthier source of protein for humans in a cost effective manner.

Dr. Mehran Ghazvini, Chairman and CEO, stated, "Faced with public health concerns, it is evident that all efforts should be made to reduce the incidence of Salmonella at the primary production level. Salmogenics accomplishes this."

Salmogenics is in the final stage of testing and trials before the final USDA approval for its commercial application.

Global Green, Inc. is a green pharmaceutical company committed to identifying technology platforms and commercializing products that contain natural organisms that are not genetically modified, utilizing pharmaceutical standards. Salmogenics, the Company's flagship product, was developed by Nutritional Health Institute Laboratories, LLC, research affiliate and majority shareholder.
