Nordson Keeps $0.15 Dividend Steady

Specialty coatings and materials maker Nordson announced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.15 per share, the same rate it's paid for the last three quarters after it increased it 20% from $0.125 per share.

The payout represents a total distribution to shareholders of approximately $9.6 million. The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on June 11 to the holders of record at the close of business on May 28. Nordson has increased its annual dividend for 49 consecutive years.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.60-per-share annual dividend yielding 0.8% based on the closing price of Nordsen's stock on May 14.
