The recovery for insurance giant AIG has been a long one. But with its shedding of the governmental ownership that stemmed from the financial crisis, the company is taking steps to shore up its operations and strengthen its position as a leader in the insurance industry. The stock has risen 26.3% so far in 2013, so is there still room for new investors to cash in on the AIG recovery?
