Aetna Named Again to DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity List

HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- DiversityInc announced that Aetna (NYSE: AET) was named to its "2013 DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity" list. Aetna moved up five spots to 19th place this year.

To qualify for The DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list, participating companies must have more than 1,000 employees and complete a questionnaire filled with empirical questions. According to DiversityInc, Aetna demonstrated strength in four areas: CEO commitment, human capital, internal and external communication, and supplier diversity.
